Evening Standard – Best storage beds for adults

In case you hadn’t heard, clutter is now out of fashion. Gone are the days when porcelain trinkets could collect dust on the mantelpiece; these days, it’s all about minimalism.

The Evening Standard was on the lookout for the best storage beds for adults taking into consideration the space available in compact modern homes.

It’s a simple pull-up-and-push-down affair, meaning you can easily store away items such as winter bedding and boxes. The open-slatted headboard is great for weaving fairy lights through and the light grey colour is neutral enough to go with most colour schemes. The only downside here is that this one comes flat-packed, though the instructions are fairly simple to follow and with a team of two, you should have this up within a couple of hours.”
